rats again after a long break ... Taipan VL.25 scores ... Alaska critter pics 2

We played peek-a-boo for 30 minutes and I finally got everything sorted. Hadn't shot at rats in several months so I forgot to take care of a lighting issue and now I am back and killing.

Tired, at bedtime, and aiming for the head but probably hit the jaw and went through the whole body. Hades at 915 fps.

Really prefer Poly Mags and need to find some!

Mike!!! Excellent shot and video! So glad your rat draught has finally ended! I have rats running around my patios cement slab but none on the bait station! LOL! Then when I put out bait on the slab near the lawn.....no shows! Dang it! LOL! Keep up the great shooting and videos. Tight lines!

Tight Lines Bro! Here's the HaHa....... I spent a week in Alaska interior with a whole suitcase devoted to fishing gear and NEVER made a cast. Next time. A week on a remote 55acre parcel / Air bn Bee and ALWAYS looked outside before opening the door!!!

Regarding the trickery your rats are performing I have only one suggestion... keep at it and I know you will!!!

I haven't baited for several months, they wore me out.

Got pics of:
Mt. Denali (a.k.a McKinley)
grizzly bear
cow moose
bull moose
rug rat moose
caribou

@mikehunt great photos and one day I hope to get up north like that.

IIt was only a six-hour flight but that always seems to turn into a 16-hour day. It's a mere 130 miles from Fairbanks to the entrance of Denali National Park and it's an easy Drive.

It took me about 4 minutes to get through security at the Fairbanks airport and there's one bar.

Fairbanks is a great airport as far as I'm concerned
