Ratata#24 - HW100 rats shooting

I enjoyed this as usual. You scared the hell out of the starlings. Looks like they’ll be roosting elsewhere for a while. Do you collect the rats after each outing or are there barn cats that grab them? Can you show us your new shooting sticks in a future video? What improvements have they added compared to your last shooting rest? Keep up the good work.

@Ezana4CE. Thanks for watching. No new starlings return to roost at Farm Y since the last video except one lone starling that I found last night and it didn't make it thru the night, lol. I collect the ones that I can reach and leave the ones inside the barn area where the cows reside as owner told me his workers will clean them out. The barn cats would clean up after me as well when they find the bodies. I recently purchased the Primos Trigger stick Gen3 Tripod Shooting Stick (tallest one). I really like this as I can easily adjust on the fly with one hand while holding the rifle in the other. I use my foot to kick open the tripod legs and then adjust for height. It is extremely stable and it enables me to spot and squeeze off my shots quite easily. My last shooting rest was Mickey Mouse compared to this one. It was cumbersome where I had to adjust each leg and lock in place individually. Too much time wasted and now with the new trigger stick, I can get on target quite quickly once I get used to the adjustments. I am very happy with it as I move around the farm a lot, looking for starlings and rats. Each second counts.

@Ezana4CE. so far I am very with mine and my HW100 is a tank so the tripod is holding up pretty good. Obviously it is not the same as the ones that people use to mount their gun right onto the tripod with the adaptor. For the walk around shooting stick that can be adjusted on the fly, this Primos is good enough for me. I will be using it more to shoot both starlings and rats in my next visits so I will report back or the videos might show how end results.
