It's a Pard 008lrf and I use a battery pack powered 5 inch monitor mounted onto the side like this. It outputs the 600x800 from the eye piece onto the display so I can use it "nitesite styleor rats with all the scanning around it's way more comfortable on the eyes than looking into an eyepiece for hours at night. It records in 1080p though so the quality displayed on the monitor isn't full quality but the recording is.

Yeah I only give rats this treatment. When you see them eating their injured buddies live and see the damage these do around the farm all empathy is gone. I don't do this type of shooting with anything else, no mercy on these buggers.

Love the sound of those pellets smacking them rats... Target rich environment and good dynamic marksmanship. Those bastages rarely stand still. Good shooting.

Good job on the rats, looks like there’s plenty to deal with lol. When at war with pests I would take any shots available too. With the starlings around here if you have any pause they are gone. You need to shoot as soon as the crosshairs are on target. I’m betting the .22 pellets at 800 FPS go way into the vitals even with the ass shot. Keep it up! And thanks for sharing.

Great vid Nate, hard to believe the infestation can be that bad. Not good for the dairy owner but a paradise for pesting. Agree too that waiting on the perfect head shot on these vermin would cut the extermination attempt at least in half.
