I was just about to go to bed after having a few bourbons and good cigars when I looked out my "sniper window" and spotted a Norway rat sitting there eating the chicken scratch along with the cottontail rabbits. This was at about 1:05am. So you know what I did... LOL!
Sorry the pic is not so good, but the lighting is from my security lights and I didn't feel like making a production of taking the pics. The one shown is the best of the 3 pics I took...
Anyway, the rat was facing away from me with its right side open to me. The shot went in the right shoulder and cameout the mouth out the left side of the head as far as I could tell. So a possible heart/brain shot? LOL! In any case, it was DRT. No twitching... no movement at all after the shot.
~15 yards with .177 Benjamin Fortitude Gen 2 using CPUM 10.5 @~755fps for ~12-13fpe.
The pic is just how it died, no posing for entry and exit... sorry... and the pic quality is really bad, but the rat is dead. (grin)
Cigars tonight were CAO Flathead 660, Montecristo Platinum Toro and 5 Vegas Series A Archetype. All excellent cigars!
