Two double left side stamped R1’s, these are the earliest versions of the Beeman R1. These have both the Beeman logo AND the CA city which can only be San Rafael on the left side of the compression tube/breech block. All other/later R1's have the Beeman logo on the right and the city on the left. According to the Doc himself the Beeman museum has only one or 2 examples.
R1 Tyrolean’s, Blue Book of Airguns states less than 25 were manufactured. This .177 has been fully engraved by its original owner.
this one is .20 and left original. Both have Blue Ribbon model 68R 4-12x40 scopes.
R1 & RX1 20 year commemorative versions; these were only produced in 1992 and came in a special 2 tone finish. The R1 had a reported production run of just 50, .20 cal.
The RX1 is claimed to have been just 25 specimens, .20 cal.
R1 Laser’s; The MKI is easily distinguished by its very straight laminate stock and reddish tone. The Laser versions were factory tuned with different springs, seal and lubes and were claimed to make considerably more power than the standard versions. This one is .177
MKII has a much lighter/blonde stock and more tradition design. This is also .177, both have Bushnell Legend 5-15x40 scopes.
