I contacted American Airgunner when they were in their 1st season to see if they wanted to do a segment on some of my rifles. They said they did not know if the show would even see a 2nd season but would keep it in mind. Several years later I contacted them again after the show changed hands at least one or 2 times and they flatly shot my idea down saying if it didn't do anything for them or the sponsors of the show they were not interested!

Wow. That is so sad. Our hobby needs ambassadors, that is ultimately good for business. Ol' Doc Beeman is still responsible for half of the airguns sold in this country and you can't deny Ted Bier's early videos sparked a resurgence in activity. Sometimes you need to look a little farther ahead.

In any case I was talking about Tyler's COVID live interviews. I know he did one with Giles and one with Steve of AEAC. They seemed much less commercialized. I don't know if they were sponsored or not?

How about a little teaser here. We could start a new thread.

What got you first interested in airguns?

How old were you?

Do you have a background in other firearms?

Do you compete?

Why collect airguns?

How often do you shoot these days?

What is your:

Favorite?

Most accurate?

Most powerful?

Least powerful?

Most valuable?

What was you best bargain?

Which gun do you regret getting most?

This list could go on and on and you may not have time but I would love it if you and a few others could have some separate Q&A threads.

If you are interested, just let me know and I will start a thread.

As yet, not tested for FPS. Something I should do. An affordable pistol with amazing accuracy is the Daisy 700 series. My pistol is middle of the pack(717,747,777) at 747, but with a splendid Mark Melesky grip. An adjustable trigger that I like. Try one, you will be amazed. Don't go low on the 717, and while it is OK, the higher end pistols are worth it. $200 range for a 747, but not always available.
