Is the element optics rangefinder module worth the $$ for small game hunting?

I got a Bushnell with a pair of binos for under 100 on Amazon. I then bough a vortex and they read the same but the vortex is less fussy if there's very light fog. I highly recommend buying the little USBc rechargeable lithium batteries of the appropriate size and carry a spare when out hunting. I've been burned by dead batteries.

I feel it's an important tool depending on the airgun and projectile as most have critical trajectories given moderated pressure and pellet/slug characteristics. I already have the Leica 2400r model for non-air rifle shooting so I didn't feel the benefit of changing over to a Helix was worth considering given my needs.

That’s actually a tough call. You can get a whole digital scope with BC calculator that you can also use at night for about the same money. However the clarity of those will be less than a good glass scope you may already have

I bought a cheap Simmons range finder ($60) about 8 years ago. It's always read within a couple yards of the expensive rf's I've compared it to & it's what I'm STILL using now! Always been more than sufficient for my hunting use.

I use my Leupold golf rangefinder I picked up used off of ebay for pesting/hunting purposes, has an elevation feature built in. It is an indispensable piece of equipment for use out in the field for me. The model I have also has a "fog" feature that works ok but one still needs to be able see and laser range find the target.

For me, it depends on the target and the distances that you are wanting to shoot at. I like to shoot ground squirrels at distances of a 100 yd and beyond, generally around the 150 to 175 range. If you are talking about the range finding module that sets on a diving aboard just above the rifle scope, they are very good. For getting an accurate reading on the target because for me, it is like having a 5 to 25 power range finder.

Golf/recreational rangefinders can be very effective below 1-300 yds where most PCP shooting is done. You don't need to spend beaucoup dollars except for balling rights.
The lasering units get wonky and become non-useable in inclement weather (rain, snow, fog, smoke filled air etc).
