rangefinder, why not a Golf one?

I've been using a Nikon/Callaway IQ model for the last 7 years and haven't had any issues with it.

If all you are using the rangefinder for is measuring distances, then use whatever you have available. They are all the same in that regard.

golf vs rifle vs bow rangefinders really only differ in the software features in each rangefinder. They measure distance the same.

Some are different in that the picture may be sharper and clearer due to adjustable eyepiece and better glass with higher mag. Also, more golf ones seem to offer angle compensation. 

Some also offer first or second object selection, which can help distinguish brush from target, or select one object ahead of or behind the other.
