Rangefinder Leupold RX 1000 TBR - Great Value Or Cheap Junk?

Wanted to share -

Purchased this range finder just over 2 years ago. Worked great until the reticle burned out and is no longer visible in daylight regardless of brightness settings.

I contacted the manufacturer and they were not able to replace as it appears I am just outside of the warranty period. 

They were willing to give me a user credit against a new purchase, but I think I'll take my chances with another brand.

Anyone else have similar problems with Leopold Rangefinders?

I'm thinking Sig for the next round...

I got the sig kilo1800bdx . Have not got a chance to use it much. Seems to work good.

I think SIG is really at the top of their game.

I have been using a cheap Bushnell one for several years and have had no issues with it. I think its only good for 250 yards but I picked it up just for my airgun habit.

Good piece of kit. I'm looking closer to 1000 yrds.
