Ran the Tactic 30 over the Crony

Howzit Gang!

Brahdah had some time this morning to run the Tactic over the crony. I filled to 250 bar (read from my tank gauge) The gauge on the Tactic read about 2300psi. Ran two nine shot magazines of JBS 44.75 and was SURPRISED with the results! The Good... Surprisingly consistent! The Bad.... was expecting more shots before it fell off the regulator.

First String

869, 866, 864, 864, 865, 864, 861, 864, 867, 865, 865, 864, 860, 848, 838, 824, 811, 794

Second String

874, 868, 867, 866, 867, 865, 864, 868, 866, 871, 868, 862, 850, 843, 826, 813, 793, 782

I haven’t adjusted anything on the Tactic yet but it looks like Tony might have adjusted the hammer spring a to get a more consistent string (not really sure as I’m new to the mechanical aspects of airguns). I think if I screw the hammer spring in I’ll be able to hit 80 foot pounds with the gun. For now I’m gonna leave everything alone except maybe adjust the trigger and learn to shoot the gun.

Overall I’m Very Happy with the Tactic... The only problem with the gun so far is that she’s showing me how lousy a shot I am! HAHAHA

Aloha,

Mark

2manyAirGunz, Ran outside to take a quick pic. Took off the scope as I was going to adjust the trigger to see if it’ll improve my groups

heavy-impact, I heard stories of 275/300 pigs but largest I’ve personally saw was a two hundred pounds. Back in the day when I was bow hunting I shot one but felt like he was hunting me when I started tracking him... Exciting times! Especially since I was hunting alone! HAHAHA

So far I've only used JSBs in my Vulcan. I'm using a Ronin LDC to tame the bark a little bit. I've tried an extension with the Ronin, but clipping seems to be a problem.

This .30 caliber is my 3rd Vulcan. My 1st two are Tactics and this one is the bullpup. I'm a big fan of the Vulcan. I find them to be very accurate, well-built and hassle-free.

Mahalo Lowkey! I was thinking of charging the gun up using the guns gauge but wanted to play it safe and instead use the tanks gauge. Tomorrow when I fill the tank I’ll ask my friend to fill directly to the gun from the compressor and check the gun’s pressure gauge. Hopefully I’ll know which gauge is off and fill accordingly.

Aloha

Lowkey,

No problem Brahdah! If you pick one up I hope you have a compressor to fill the little Beast! It’s an Animal when it comes to air consumption! BUT....if it keeps shooting the way it does I’ll be more than Happy to keep her well fed! I have only put three tins through her so I’m guessing she’s still settling in. So far I’m a Happy Camper!
