Raising the apiture sights on a FWB 300 Universal

Hi!! All, Planning to do some 10 meter shooting with my old FWB and while trying to set up the rifle to fit me better I have come to the conclusion that I need to raise the sites up so I don't have to press my cheek as tightly down into the cheek piece to see through the peep sight. I know you can buy a riser block for the rear but I see no way to raise the front sight aperture as it is not mounted in a dove tail as many normally are. I don't know if there is enough adjustment in the rear sight to make up the difference?

Anyone ever done this or am I missing something? thanks in advance!! J.L.

1Bad Dart, Mine has an adjustable cheek piece and I have it in the lowest possible position and the adjustable but plate is lowered to the maximum so I have no choice but to raise the sights. I don't want to cut the cheek piece down and devalue the rifle as it is in VERY nice condition!! I can shoot it the way it is but would prefer a more upright stance. I must have a LOOOONG head!!! Thank's for the reply!! J.L.
