@HPAman. No complaints here. Just showing the effects of nature. Water will be gone by sundown. Rain stopped and setting up to shoot spinners now. My thoughts and prayers to the people in Texas.

What a great backyard for plinking! When it's dry that is. I'm an hour west of Columbia, SC and my backyard is completely drenched too, but fortunately the creek back there hasn't flooded.

Not the first time it is. Good that it did not get in the house is all I can say. But don't ferget to put your waders on to set up targets.

it has been really cold in illinois,below 0 at night , its 11 o/o right now + we have had snow +freezing rain couple weeks ago,& more snow on top of that & unfortunatly i have had to work outside in it.but i am sure other people have it worse somewhere else..

It's supposed to rain this afternoon. That will be most welcome, to finally melt the remaining snow and Ice from last week here in E. Texas. I saw enough of that stuff to last me a lifetime . We hit -3 or 4 the other morning, coldest I have seen here. I work part time and went to work yesterday We live on a side road ending in a cul-de-sac that does not see much traffic, but enough had been by to create a small ridge of ice and when I went to back out had to pull forward and get a little speed to bump my big truck over it, a F250 quad cab 4x4 diesel, The side roads up to the main highway, about 3/4 mile were solid ice, highway clear, then when i got to town and turned off to go downtown the streets were solid ice. I was in and out of 4 wheel drive all the way to work. It was really slick ice as we had some thawing the afternoon before then mid teen temps overnight refreezing everything.
