R7 Auction Find

As much of a newbie as I am, I can't pass up reading an R7 or HW30S thread, especially one loaded with pics. I think I learned something from this thread as well!

I was wondering what the R7 differences were when members mentioned them in terms of different California cities....That's the address of Beeman in the US! (I think!) That 'address' label refers to different 'eras' of Beeman products, if I'm reading the info correctly. :)

Each Era is represented by the location of the Beeman company at the time. This denotes a corresponding set of dates of manufacture.
Each particular model has certain characteristics ie...pre-safety refers to San Rafael models without one. Many shooters dislike the safety as it interupts the flow....especially if you forget to release it. Lol
Biggest difference is in the quality and design of the stocks.
If anyone else wants to chime in about more variations, please do.
