R5 Matador.30 Standard huma Regulator Question

Very happy to have Finally Received my package Via FedEx that ive been Patiently waiting for.. My Edgun R5 Matador .30 Standard that i bought from a Member here in AGN....I bought it with the Huma Regulator already Installed...Sighted her in at 50 yards shooting NSA 47 grain Slugs....5 shot hole in hole was just to easy!!....I wanted to know what she was pushing so i ran 10 shots through the crony as followed:

HI-824

Low-819

Average-820

Extreme spread-5

Standard deviation-1

Im not sure if this is a good reg setting or if its to low for 47 gn slugs....witch is what i plan on shooting Exclusively my shooting range is from 50 to 100 yards...so if anybody can help me out here i would very much appreciate it...Thanks...

You’ve stated that the rifle shoots hole-on-hole at 50 yards, shown a 4-FPS extreme spread and are wondering if its current setting is any good.... I think it’s pretty obvious, don’t you think?

@spinj I'm not really Familiar with crony data or what Extreme spread and Standard deviation means...I know what fps hi and Average mean...The R5 Matador.30 Standard is my first of its kind...Witch is why i posted my crony data and what i was shooting as far as ammo and the range of 50 to 100 yard was to tryin to figure out if those numbers was good or if i needed to bump the huma Regulator up a bit...and to answer your question No its not obvious to me otherwise i wouldn't be asking in the first place...

I think your rifle’s regulator setting is fine. Those are excellent numbers that you posted. If it shoots well leave it as is.



I think it’s the shooter who greatly influences results, so great job on the group at 50 yards.

Did you tried more hst (ccw)? Try let’s say 5 clicks and shoot 5 shots over the chrony, if it didn’t went up at least 15fps you would need more reg
