Shot this today right before wind picked up . Got a really good tin of Falcons going right now
So I've been noticing something and curious if you guys have seen this also ? After changing over to a different pellet while shooting I've noticed it sometimes ( not always ) takes a few shots for the different pellets to " settle in " before they shoot their best . Not sure if it's seasoning as I've heard rimfire shooters speaking of or what ..This Target is a good example . I started at top left and snaked my way to the bottom after changing back to the original pellets I zeroed up with earlier in the day . The first 10-15 shots seem to loose group until it gets back right .
PS this group is 25 meters with 8.4 AA pellets . And its about as well as i can shoot

I've been training at the club the last 10 weeks with 10-meter prone, and the training is paying off. Shot my best 30-shot group ever today!

How tiny that 10-ring is? Well, it's tiny as hell, just 0,5mm. Not hitting that little dot means it's less than 10:

Thanks Joe! Going to the range tonight to see if I can improve this score. It's just great advertising for the FWB300S! If you ever want to show how accurate those things are, here's the proof.

I feel like I'm getting a handle on the TX. I remounted the scope with the recoil absorbing mount shown and shot this group at 25 yards. 18 pellets. The flyers are still a mystery but it's probably me or less than perfect pellets. These shots were with Air Arms 16 grain pellets.

I'm not using a rear bag. That might improve things if I did. I'm literally balancing the gun on a cubical shaped sand bag with the rifle about eight inches off the table. Not touching the fore end of the gun at all.

Great shooting Dude !!!! Don't sweat an occasional flyer . Remember you are shooting a projectile shaped like a doorknob !! poops gonna happen . Man with my springer I had a canvas rear bag I got off eBay for like 6$ and it worked like a charm and rifle just recoils without grabbing like it can on a leather bag

Glad to see some great things happening here..I just had an amputation and recuperating but cant wait to get in the basement for some action cause I hate snow.

I think it is true what some have said. Air Arms though made by JSB are more uniform pellets.

Either the TX is starting to like me, it is becoming broken in, I've gotten the hold down ... or all three.
One kinda odd thing though: It took ten clicks up on the Hawke today. A change from yesterday's zero where it seemed spot on. Weather? Faulty scope? Mount?

I was shooting some empty paint cans today. 16 grain pellets were blasting right through at 25 yds. This gun may see more pesting duty than I had thought.

Well after my trials and tribulations with the 350, losing the site post, trying to make my own, shooting without any insert and plumb wearing myself out cocking it ... I decided the TX needed some love. Good Grief! It was like cocking a childs toy pop gun. he he he
