I'm looking for suggestions for a backyard friendly/ quietest, SEMI AUTOMATIC 30 cal, probably with built in suppressor because I think on Long Island NY it's illegal to have a detachable can. Thank you in advance.

Don’t have a recommendation for a semi-auto bullpup in .30, but as long as a moderator is for airgun use only it’s ok if it’s removable.

And I thought if the moderator can withstand one center fire round through it, it's prison time. If that's the case, I can not take that chance. Maybe, another 4 to 5 months and we are out of here. The people who run my state are not fans of me. Audited 3 times for criticizing them.

Don't know how quiet it is but Rick Euster sells a Evanix semi auto 30 and has a video on YouTube of him shooting it in a high wind.

When i bought my Fx Impact.22 the dealer also had.30 cal and we fired few shoots in the distance and i just couldn't bellive how quiet it was with a factory hollow sound moderator. Now i am sorry i didn't bought. 30 cal.

I would definitely buy an FX compact in a 30 if they were semi automatic. I love that I can have two bottles. But I do not think the company progressed to semi yet, or did I miss that. Please tell me theres a semi automatic FX.

Semi auto is still pretty niche. Take a look at a LCS or Huben in .25. They may not be .30 but I understand the power levels can be taken pretty high.

The last thing I saw on them was around $2250 with a 350mm barrel, but they've gone through some changes so they maybe more now. I wanted one in 30 myself but I can't justify the price.

The next gun on my 'list' is the LCS SK-19 in .25.
I have an Impact in .30 and it's phenomenal but I really want the -19 too. Such a cool gun. If you can back off your caliber a bit, it would probably fit the bill. It's semi and full auto. If not, then give up on the semi and get an Impact.

"SEMI AUTOMATIC" and "30 Cal" are almost mutually exclusive.
A little flexibility on the caliber to 25 opens you up to some great bullpup options. The two I'm most familiar with are the LCS Air Arms SK-19 Semi- and Full-Auto (I own this one in 25) and the Huben K1.
Being flexible regarding the semi-auto criteria opens you up to many great bullpup options. FX Impact, FX Wildcat, RTI Prophet and Edgun models come to mind. Due to their specific methods of forward, side-clocking, these all allow for fast follow-up shots while staying on target/quarry through the scope.

PS: I don't know which one is quietest. But all are either already relatively quiet or can be made to be so. I would double check on that moderator regulation. It sounds bizarre to me. First of all the threads are different on airgun moderators vs firearm so you'd have to also be caught with the appropriate thread adapter.
PSS: Optimum quietness might be another reason to go down in caliber.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. If you can stand the heat, move to Florida. The only law I know of concerning airguns here is you have to be over 16yrs old or with an adult.
