the mod 3 should be the same level as the X3, maybe I got a bad one. Thanks to amazon I already sent it back and got my money back, I didn’t like the turret so I’m going to try something else.

I think the Midas Tac are hard to beat. Also check out the Arken line of scopes. Love my 4-14x44 SH-4 but good luck finding one in stock there lead times are like 2-3months now with Covid. Between those 2 I don't even consider a different scope

Waiting for amazon to get the midas tac mildot version to be in stock but also eyeing the 34mm strike eagle from vortex since I still like my diamondback tac. Good thing is there are good choices out there.

Have a Riton Mod7 5-20 and for what i paid it's great (on sale for about $300 about half a year ago if i remember right) That said, my favorite is still the Midas Tac.
