Quick question yes or no

I usually do not respond to threads about airguns I have no experience with. But recently I bought an FX impact M4 in 25 cal for $2200. My rational is the pellet flying 890 fps downrange does not know if it is coming from my Avenger or FX or a Red Panda. With the FX I got a better trigger, easy barrel and caliber swap, more shots per fill, etc etc. Someone else will speak to the merits of the Red Panda. Did I get $1600 more airgun with the FX over the Avenger? Maybe, maybe not. But I am enjoying both. In conclusion if you have $2400 in your pocket then buy it. I am retired and you only live once. Good luck with your decision and airgun afventure. Dan

@Footloose , only you can answer that ? Since it's your $.
ok maybe I didn't ask the right question . For the people that have the Karma red panda are you happy with your purchase ? and In your opinion Is the gun worth the money ? some feed back would be great before I get serious about parting with my hard earned money .

Thanks .

Dan, I hear you Sir. That is my thoughts pertaining to my AirMaks Katrans. and my BSA R10. I now have 3 Katrans & honestly could use another Standard) to round out my collection. I have others (Avenger, modded a bit),Stoegers ( great guns for the $) & A Kral (modded also for extended shots), Evanix semi, decent. BUT , something about quality & refinement of a "Kit" does something for you at a certain point of life (retirement being the perfect example). Just my .02.

I have a karma RP and 22 caliber, and it is strictly for competition bench rest type shooting. I have a 22 caliber falling plate match that I shoot it in, against 22 rim fire rifles at various distances. All the way out to a 175 yd. The gun weighs 22 pounds with air and scope. It is currently set up to shoot AEA 38.6 grain slugs at a velocity of 994 fps.

I don’t think so. Unproven company other than winning. If that is your focus then maybe it is ? Unproven longevity, reliability etc. Their other two models, while I have no personal experience just don’t seem overwhelmingly great from reading and watching vids. Especially the EQ which I had high hopes for. On the other hand that could be because karma put all their time and focus on the panda so maybe it is a lot better 🤷‍♂️. I don’t know, I’d personally buy something with more of a track record at this point.

I vote Yes. It seems to me that the Red Panda's price is if anything a bit lower than other airguns with similar performance in competition. If I wanted a benchrest gun for competition it would be on the short list.

I also like the fact that it is a "manufactured in China" gun that competes with the best. I do not think my under $500 airguns built in China are equivalent to airguns costing 3X as much but I don't think the difference is as big as some want to suggest.

As a manufacture , I would give a China company the blueprints and they would build my product the exact specifications . If China skimps on quality it would be because i told them to skimp . Otherwise the Chinese company would go out of business , just like any other company in the world .
Now if it is solely a China blueprint and spec's then it is their product .

Not necessarily. SPA sold several boatloads of lottery guns for years and guys just kept buying them. If I had a Panda, I’d tell the OP if it’s worth the money. Pretty simple question. It’s so easy that I can tell most newbies that no airgun is worth the money. But we just exchange paper for what strikes our fancy. I think the better question is do you regret a purchase. If we overpay for something and it makes us happy, then we don’t think about the hole in our credit card.
