I used the internal Strelok Pro pellet database to select the JSB King I'm shooting in my Uragan. Choosing it from the database made it use the G1 Drag Function which surprised me as I thought I had read several times here that the GA drag function was better for airgun projectiles. Should I stick with the G1 or switch it back again to GA? The difference was approx. 0.3" at 100 yards, 0.6" at 125 yards, so not major but not insignificant at these distances. For myself I probably wouldn't worry about it under 100 yards.
I had used iStrelok on my iPhone/iPad for years but decided I wanted the more extensive scope reticle database and the pellet database. I exported my settings from iStrelok to dropbox, copied that rifles file to the new Strelok Pro folder, then imported it into Strelok Pro. That worked except it changed every single Bullet Speed setting from what I had measured with my chrony to a Bullet Speed of 2584 fps for every single rifle/cartridge. Is there a way to get it to import this correctly? And are there any other import issues that I might want to know about?
Strelok Pro now has a barrel twist setting it wants me to fill out. It defaults to 12. Is this setting that sensitive for airguns? I'd have to do a bunch of digging to go find this for all my airguns. I am thinking it isn't that sensitive to the calculation since the regular iStrelok doesn't use it.
