New to the forum I have two pcp air riles Benjamin .22 and .25. Looking for a big bore rifle to hunt white tail and smaller predators. I been looking at the Seneca WING SHOT SHOTGUN II and DOUBLE SHOT PCP AIR SHOTGUN like the fact both shoots air bolt,ammo and NO.8 shotshells. I would appreciate your opinions and or suggestions. I'd look at the specs for that gun. You'll be shooting a light load of #8's at what speed, = at what range? Also what kind of arrow-bolt speed with a half inch diameter arrow? Shot Count? Noise? I got an 835 Mossberg three barrel combo kit for 400 a few years back.

Having read and watched probably every review of the Double Shot, I'd say it does it all. That said, the only airgun application it does best is the (esoteric) air shotgunning application.
It won't shoot slugs as accurately as an air RIFLE, limiting that hunting application to relatively short ranges.
It also seems (perhaps to some degree) less accurate with air bolts than when fired through a rifled barrel, but plenty powerful and accurate enough to hunt any game on Earth with arrows; with little realistic compromise in maximum range(s) compared to air bolts through a big-bore air rifle.
Double Shot cool factor? OFF THE CHARTS!

Thank's for the input. Think I will go with the Texan SS 45. cal great reviews for all around gun. I pull my crossbow out for archery hunting . Thanks again .
