Question on a screen mount adapter

I have been using the ATN xsight 4th Gen just so I can cast it to my phone since I can't hold the rifle to my shoulder. Now I have 5 rifles I need to start thinking about putting scopes on.

Has anyone ever tried one of these on a scope? I'm only interested in the daytime part.

Not that particular one but I do have and use a scopemate that is very similar. Pretty decent sight picture especially daytime.

Honestly if it's just for daytime use I would give one of these a try, save some money and if it turns out to suck you could return it.
