I am going to be getting a Maverick in .22 and am wondering how the people that have them like the FZ DonnyFL moderator? Is there a better choice from the Donny lineup?

Question for the Maverick owners

I shoot my .22 Maverick indoors. With cats asleep, normally within about two to ten feet away, If they are asleep, they don't move, don't care. One of them actually, occasionally watches me.
So, saying that, they really aren't that loud. I did put a 0DB silencer on my .22 Prophet. It now sounds a bit like my...Maverick ! I don't know how quiet you want it, but obviously the larger the better (normally). But one of the main reasons for "me" buying the Maverick, is because it's short. Don't need to be more quiet, that's a good thing for keeping the gun, short.

My son has the little DonnyFL Tanto on his Maverick and it’s super quiet, actually pretty amazing for the power it puts out and the size of the moderator. It looks great too.

Tatsu wasn't quiet enough for the power I'm tuned at. Sumo was a little better. Ronin is where it's at for me!!

I too am curious about the large ass turrent, is that hand made?... My old eyes would love one that large. Please let us know.

Donny makes a great product. I have sumo and fx model. However I also have hugget. Hugget I feel is a better sound moderator. Is it worth twice the price???
