I have a 600mm in .22 and it’s crazy good…
Practical question though, probably more out of curiosity than anything. Does your dwell adjuster actually reduce speed? If so, what pressure and ammo are you shooting and by how much is the dwell reducing speeds?
Mine has the pneumatic hammer and newest version of the valve. I’m mainly “keeping it light” and am shooting 34 and 36gr slugs. Reg at around 150 and shooting them 970 - 990. While the dwell adjuster is definitely doing what it should based on sound of the gun and air consumption, i do not actually see drops in speed. It drops maybe 5-10fps if I have the dwell screw the dwell adjuster in completely closed and is back to full/max speed “1.5 holes open” (like 1/4 turn of the adjuster).
It’s accurate, quiet and efficient (about 3 full mags) the way it is sitting now so this is more of a “just making sure nothing is wrong” question than something else but would still like to know… I went over the valve a bit ago to check it out, all screws tight, moving as it should based on videos I’ve seen.
Thanks in advance!!
