Crosman Question for 1701P owners

I recently bought one (very first PCP), and while accuracy seems very, very good, I seem to have an issue feeding pellets. Just before entering chamber, pellets nose down and get a little hung up - slightly worse with domed pellets. If I close bolt quickly, they seem to go in a little smoother but I can still feel the catch. Has anyone else have or had this issue?
Wondering if it's something I need to contact Crosman about

Common problem. Sand the base of the plastic piece that the pellet rides along until it drops to the right level.

I would like it to be a smoother transition though - can’t help but feel that I’m damaging pellets, at least a little bit. Just have to learn how to remove bolt so I can take loading block out.

On mine, I just push the pellet into the barrel with my thumb. I did find the 8+ gr pellets loaded easier due to their longer/heavier skirts keeping them horizontal as they transition into the barrel (most of the time). The lighter pellets have more weight in the head and tend to turn their asses straight up. But pushing the pellet in with my thumb works every time, no matter the ammo.
