Hi guys,
I'm kinda bored with a rifle, right now. Because it's pretty easy popping pigeons and doves at our feeder, at 30-40 yards with my HW50S and a Leapers 10x50 scope.
So i wanted to try Airpistols, now i dont have the recourses for a PCP but i can buy a spring version.
So, i was thinking about a Hatsan Supercharger pistol in .22 caliber, putting on a BSA 2-7x32 scope and try hunt that way, anyone here tried air pistol hunting? would the doves or pigeons die cleanly with a .22 pellet in the back, or chest area?
I'm planning to snipe them around 20-30 yards, having a rest. Now i know those Air pistol scopes dont have mil-dots, so im thinking to zero at 20 yards, and just aim dead-on.
