just ordered 1 for my 22 cal crown. I’m gonna be using it with the donnyfl adapter in 1/2x20. Will it still be ok the extend the shroud while shooting or just leave it in?

i dont know personally but i am pretty sure that the donny is wider than the shroud

NO, do not use it with the shroud extended. You will run into clipping issues. It will be quieter than just the shroud, but there is not enough stability to use it extended with the sumo.

Right on Donny's website it says to lock the shroud to the rear. There's a pictorial on how to do it.
I run the Sumo on my Crown 22 with the shroud locked to the rear, very quiet and no issues.
