Quest For a New Gun in .177...

Well Guys i need your input and help on this one...

I have become bleary eyed in my quest for a new gun in .177..

I know , I know , .177 is almost a cuss word today but I have about 4,000 various .177 pellets sitting on a shelf , so instead of selling them off , of course i would rather have another gun.. Lol

My " Toy " room full of High End .22's , and I have a High End gun in .25 so all of that is more than covered...

Hence my quest... my qualifiers are as follows

1) Short ( under 30" ) preferably multi shot

2) Accurate , not really looking for long range , have that covered , so 50 yards and under ( no more than 1" groups )

3) Relatively quiet without an additional moderator if possible, but I do have moderators out the whasoo if I have to., I definitely do NOT want a " Twanger " louder hammer than the guns report...

4) Decently priced , i really do not want another 1400.00 plus gun on the shelf

5) I am a lefty so some guns are out right out of the gate..

So after seeing my " wish list " on paper i am huntimg for a damn unicorn..Lol

Any 1st hand , real world information on this unicorn would be appreciated...

If you can get by the lefty bit (so am i) i would consider this. You are well covered on quality and accuracy. Aa s200 .177.

I have a 177 Vulcan # 2 , And the thing I did not research is the magazine, Its a spring loaded rotary type,

Its a big pain in the but loading the mags with the little 177 pellets, The open magazines that you just drop the pellet in is so much easier...

I know the Vulcan is a little on the high side price wise , But little thing to me just kill the deal ,,,,

Love the gun, Just hate loading it, Something to think about ...

Built for left or right hand shooters, but slightly over your dollar value...but worth the dollar, the Edgun, Lelya 2.0.

Shoots well, available in .177, built like a tank, and being that I shoot in the house, the sound isn't too bad, as my cats don't even look up when I shoot it..!. I have a .22. Very well built, and accurate, even offhand shooting.

BSA Scorpion is under 1K at $800, bolt can be switched for left hand, 25 shots/fill, 232 bar fill, threaded muzzle, 7.7 lbs, 36 1/2"

BSA Ultra SE is $800 for beech, $700 synthetic, not sure about switching the bolt, 40 shots/fill, threaded muzzle, 5.9 lbs, 32"

I was in your situation last December. None of the carbines I found came with a moderator and where still under 32". I went with a left handed HW100BP-K, but also paid a premium of $1500. However, it doesn't disappoint. It immediately printed quarter size groups at 50 yards with CPUMs and shoots all the pellets I've tried so far well enough for HOSP control out to 40 yards, and some true dime size groups at 50. It's 28 1/2" long with the Weihrauch moderator installed and shoots at 17fpe.

EDIT: You mention no springers, but how about a CO2? Crosman Custom Shop 2400KT with the L/W barrel. You can replace the breech with a left hand version for around $60 or leave it as is. Mine is accurate enough to shoot paint balls at 46 yards as seen in this test video.

Check out the Daystate Huntsman they are available in LH with or without a reg. I shot 90 shots sitting in my chair at 25yards with my unregulated Huntsman the other day just to check shot count, high 801, low 727 ave. 766 with H&N 10.65's from 200 to 100bar, I've put 11 tins through it since May, it's the least expensive air rifle I have and I'll never part with it!
