Quadrant Target Review

Thanks Keith. I actually have a couple more vids I have posted, but I have them on my "intenseaty" account. Trying to have a dedicated airgun channel, so will post those when I can figure out how to transfer them or repost them. Biggest challenge I face is I don't know what the heck I'm doing when it comes to editing, even though I have top of the line editing apps, but trying to learn.

Maybe I'm just not doing it right.

I bought a spray can of black, white and orange Rustoleum. Masking it off isn't bad, but I get bored shaking the cans. You have to put real light coats on--especially in the winter here--or the paint blisters. It wasn't so bad in the summer for some reason. You have to wait until it dries enough to do the next color. If you mess up the black areas like I did this last time, you have to remask it to get those areas... It's not hard. It just takes time.

Maybe I'm just not patient enough.

Or is there a better way to do it?

Try some Rustoleum (or similar) that is brush on?

Thanks. I probably should just learn more patience. It wasn't a problem in the summer. It's just been a little trying since it turned cold.

I think I need a transfer to Hawaii, or someplace!

To be honest, I don’t worry about the black. I paint the Quadrants white, then use a piece of cardboard and “hide” everything but the pendulum & spray it Hot Orange. It’s meant to peel so you can see where you hit. Quick and easy.

Thanks, Christian. That's pretty much what I've been doing. This was the first time I've messed up the black enough to feel the need to touch it up. Then when I did, I messed up the white. When I went back and redid it, I messed the black up again! Frustrating day. But it looks good again now, so I can go shoot it all off again when the weather settles down and the guests go back home.

Thanks, Houli. Great idea. I think I'll use a hair dryer, though, prior to painting it. I tried it to speed up the drying process, and it just made it worse!

Peace.

and thanks again.
