QD Sling Mount on FX Synthetic Stock

I’ve found good content on pic rail install on the Wildcat but not sure how to install a QD at the rear side of the butt stock. Anyone have experience such as recessed or surface mount types (links!), screw type or using epoxy?
One of the more frustrating aspects of Airgun makers is they don’t consider slings…

This is what you need. You will need a 1/2” drill and tap, and I coated the threads with a thin coat of JB weld before I threaded it into the wildcats synthetic stock

Place masking tape in the area you are drilling into, to keep the drill bit from taking a chunk off the surface outside of the drill hole.
