QB78 co2 cap problem

alright guys so basically I was wondering if any of you guys have have dealt with the co2 cap that you tighten down on the tube to puncture the 2 co2 carts, mine currently is a struggle everytime I go to put new co2 in when I go to tighten the cap it’s super hard towards the end to turn and sometimes it isn’t able to be twisted back a thread and then it doesn’t fully engage the 2 co2 carts which in turn is very weird and I’d love to fix lol, so if any of you guys haven’t any info that could help me out It would be much appreciated and thanks again guys!

Sounds like the threads were roughly machined. I’d try a really slick lube on the threads to see if it’ll torque down another turn or two. “Secret Sauce” is pretty slickery.
