If you want slugs that will shoot great out of your avenger get some AVS slugs. Stephan made them to work great out of the avenger, Aspen, and liberty.

Getting about 910 fps and approximately 76 shots with 14 grain Crossman pellets

Why does the regulator drop down to about 1400 when the rifle pressure approaches 2000psi?

Why isn't anyone addressing the hammer spring issue? Many believe it has only three turns of adjustment, when it actually has six turns.

The hammer spring screw BINDS three turns in and requires additional force to get it past the third turn.

This issue SKEWS the tuning process.

I would like to see a plenum upgrade to the .22 for a little more power. It would be nice to have an .22 avenger with at least 50fpe from the factory and parts available to upgrade power. The gun is very accurate and a super gun otherwise. Also a thumbhole stock would be nice as well.

There is a wood stock (see below) available from Canadian Arms that is an easy mod to fit the avenger with a bottle. Prices listed are in Canadian dollars, so it is a little less $ in the US.
