I saw kayakman's posts about purchasing pellets through Pyramyd - first the significant issues with pellets shipped via Amazon, then the complete resolution of the issue when Pyramyd found out about it.
I've bought from Pyramyd for many years, up to and including pellet orders received both last week and yesterday. In my experience Pyramyd does a effective and caring job in packing and shipping pellets to preclude damage in transit.
And I'm glad that they heard about Amazon's recent piss-poor performance in shipping products for them. Amazon is a polar opposite of Pyramyd - all they care about is how to ship in the absolute cheapest manner. The least care they can take, the faster and cheaper the shipping. Add to this their use of the USPS, an organization with an established "we don't give a d@mn about your package deliveries, and you still can't touch us" attitude, and deliveries from Amazon are bound to have a high failure rate.
I'm truly happy that Pyramyd is a shop which still listens to its customers, that kayakman's issues got resolved, and that my experiences with Pyramyd have always been top notch.
