Put water separator between compressor and?

Do i put the water seperator between the compressor and 97cu carbon fiber tank or between the cf tank and the gun?

These go from air conditioning to hot alot.

Between the compressor and 97cu carbon fiber tank. If you keep the water out of the tank there isn't a need to filter between the tank and gun.
