Thought I would share this. Because I have became so farsighted the last few years (sound familiar?) I had about given up shooting iron sights, mostly handguns. I just couldn't see my sights well enough to get proper sight alignment. I had tried using reading glasses but even +1s the lowest magnification I could find locally were not helpful. So I went on Amazon looking for .5s, but what I found were progressive bifocals. They go from 0 to +1. With these I can actually see my sights again! and put the fun back into shooting my handguns. They work for me with long guns too. They also reduce glare somewhat. If you suffer from this common malady give them a try.
