Purely out of interest- Iguanas?

Don’t park under a tree. Imagine 40 seagulls roosting in every tree on your property and pooping on everything you own.

Once they reach an adult size alligators and humans are the only predators. And alligators are typically removed from the suburban areas they infest.

Voracious breeders

Lost two tent canvases to them this year.

Imagine a 15lb cat with razor blades instead of claws that has a penchant for climbing on top of everything, loves to burrow under houses, seawalls and other infrastructure with a tail that's a sharp whip.

Also, damn right they're delicious. Love iguana carnitas tacos.

The flavor depends on environment, much like rabbit. (if you've never eated a rabbit from sagebrush country out west, you should give it a shot...)

If it's been gnawing on moss off the bottom of a salty water source, they can get a bit 'alligator'ish - (read: fishy) - but the ones that have been munching on flowers and leaves tend to be VERY mild flavored.

As some folks have pointed out, there is always a concern with chemical ingestion from lawns and such, so, it's probably best to consider what they've been eating before you eat them, not just for flavor reasons.

The ones off the golf courses would worry me, I know they use all kinds and large amounts of pest and lawn chemicals at those places.

Are they a pest species that attacks your grapevines whist feasting on a diet of honeybees?

Not an anti here by any stretch- but why shoot iguanas? Are they extremely tasty?
Well, when you can get this many in a 3 hour sesh at a golf course, you know their numbers are out of hand. Each pic is a separate visit
