Purchased a Air Venturi Compressor

With all of the Yong Hengs and Vevor compressors going crazy outrageous on price on Ebay, I decided its time to upgrade. I call Pyramyd Air and talked to a very nice lady named Ruth. She was very informative of the Air Venturi compressor and talked me into it. I figured I may need some customer service so I went with them. I can't wait to get it. It's the big 4500psi 110v. Any suggestions of what I need to do or look out for while using it?? I already got the oil coming for it Free.

I recommend changing the oil the first time after the just the first couple of uses. You’ll see an amazing amount of crap come out.

Or after just one use. I usually do this to remove excess "stuff" and break-in debris on any type of small or high heat use. Many have been happy with that compressor according to reports and PA should support it well. Enjoy.

I made a mistake the first time with my hatsan lightning and filled the first bottle indoors. It does emit a slight smoke through the breather tube of the crankcase. It filled my room with smoke and got ingested into the air intake so now my tank has an odor I can’t get rid of lol. I wheel it outside now and run a fan to blow the smoke away from the intake.

Oh, and if you’ve got a brand new tank that’s empty, take that to a fill shop and have them do the initial fill, then save your AV for strictly top offs. Centercut put that idea in my head, and it made perfect sense to me. It’ll take at least two 45 minute sessions, if not more, to fill that tank from empty(it took me two 45 minute sessions to fill a 45 minute scba tank from empty, with a 15 minute break in between, yours will differ based on your tank size).
