Puncher breaker front rail

Ok so its held in with one screw instead of 2 or 3. Any suggestions. Should I just glue it on? Bi pod is not sturdy enough and its aggravating .

I fixed mine by not using it. I threaded a sling swivel post into the wood instead. The insert is not seated far enough, resulting in a tiny bit of material projecting above the wood. That makes it an excercise in futility to get a solid mate between surfaces.

I shortened the length of my screw and now I can get it to tighten up enough, so as not to turn.

Thanks for the replies. I want to use a bi pod .I tried putting an additional 2 barrel screws through the rail and stock. Still a lot of side to side play. I'm thinking a longer rail, and using the barrel screws to mount. 

Any additional info would be great before I start drilling more holes in my stock! Thanks again!

This is a easy fix and works really well. 

It's a 5" noname weaver rail, countersunk and attached with 2 allen bolts and threaded into delrin.

I didn't trust it at first either.

But its been banged around almost every day this year and is still good.
