Pump won't work!

Hello, My high pressure hand pump has stopped working. It starts to pressurize my Beeman Chief but at about 500 psi it gets impossible to either push down on the handle or pull it up. I have done the normal cleaning of the lower end but nothing seems to work, any suggestions?

If it’s a hill pump there’s a rebuild kit replace all the o rings in the kit and it will work like a charm mine did

Yeah whenever I have a failure like that I change all seals. If it's a cheap Chinese pump it should have come with some oring kit or you can order them from Amazon or Ali express. Ali will be cheaper but take a very long time in shipping. Good luck to you.

By "normal cleaning of the lower end," I assume you mean the one-way valve. According to Coby Leo, of Topa Manufacturing Company, this valve is the cause of the majority of pump problems. Since Topa Manufacturing Company makes most, if not all, of these hand pumps, I recommend viewing Coby's two-part YouTube video on breakdown, repair and re-assembly. Helped me figure mine out. Give me a PCP pump and above 500psi i wont work ;-)
