Pull through/barrel cleaning

My most satisfactory pull-through has been the one I made from backing line, a pellet and a reduced diameter slug, stored in a breath mint container.

A significant problem, for me, has been avoiding tangling while in use and in storage.

I drop the slug down the barrel from the muzzle end, use the slug to pull the line until the doubled section is out of the breech, place a folded patch between the doubled line section, then pull the patch out of the muzzle.

The space required is minimal in my range box, tangling is not an issue, patches can be pulled in either direction, etc.

Weed whacker line won't tangle. I use a small, single hole copper crimp on one end (DIY pull thru). Much easier to feed through barrel (from breech) than yours appears to be. A plastic straw with a lengthwise slit inserted at crown end of barrel prevents weed whacker line from catching, slides right through.
