Does anyone know where to buy new pull out eye cups for the Swift Audubon roof model 828 8.5x44 binoculars and how to replace these? I have had this model for a few years but recently found out that the eye cups do not stay out in extended form; they colapse or retract without any force. Rubber bands help but I am looking for a more permanent solution. Any advise ?

Did you call Swift? I called them recently and they seemed nice enough but wouldn't reseal an old pair of Swift binoculars. They did give me the contact info for their repair people.
It was cost prohibitive to get them resealed though. Good luck.

If all else fails just fix it yourself by improvising.
May be either counter clockwise or clockwise to unscrew the eyecups completely out since I don't own that brand binoculars so IDK which direction yours screws. Might not need to completely screw out from the binocular housing if you can get access to the tiny screws after peeling the outer rubber cups off.
