This was the Uragan at same distance and "target" as can see won't go through if theyre not stacked in same hole.

The barrel shroud centering part stinks. Have Jon make you a shroud and it will best it can be

Cameron @Kerndtc contacted me on a WTB thread for a LDC that he can make a 3D printed LDC if I wanted to try. I figured with my baffles and then if I needed extra quiet I'd like to try it. Well with my baffle idea failing I'm glad I had this to quiet it down. Does an excellent job and only 4.5" and 36mm OD. Very beefy little unit. And weighs less than 2oz.

Its still a very short gun with that sweet moderator. What does your rig weigh as outfitted?, An estimate is good enough.

8lbs 6oz as shown. With my 2-12 Helos 8lbs 4oz. Which it'll be wearing for now as I think my 4-20 is having issues.

The more I shoot this gun the more I'm really enjoying it. Gun is super consistent and excellent accuracy. Love how it feels which I was very very hesitant with the metal flat plate as the butt stock and lack of cheek piece. This gun has given my previous compact favorite, the Taipan Veteran Shorty, a big run for it's money.
Some little quirks, not quiet. Needs some help there. Working on something that should work very well without adding length.
Rough edges on the "plenum cover"?? Not sure what it's called. I guess the side plates above the grip. Nothing crazy like cutting me or anything but not nice and smooth. Have seen somewhere newer ones are beveled? Maybe the Prophet 2.
Was worried only left side cocking would be a pain but definitely haven't had an issue there. Keep that spring loaded ball lubed though so no galling will happen.
Few of my thoughts after putting a good tin and some more through it.

My Priest 2 has the straight cut on the side plates, my Prophet has beveled cuts above the grip. I have no idea when they made this change, but it is helpful.

If you get some baffles that work you might want to try a combination of baffles and hair curlers wrapped in felt. My P35 came with 7 very thin aluminum baffles. It is quieter with 2 or 3 baffles and the space filled with hair curlers wrapped in plastic felt. The shroud on the P35 can be slid forward to help things fit. I snug things up with a straw running through the baffles and curlers to keep things aligned. I found out that making things too snug makes it louder. I had some clipping of the baffles before I started aligning them this way during assembly.

Oh very interesting Scott! I see they did it up until where the plenum is at. Maybe the compact version didn't have it that way since it doesn't come with a plenum? Good question. Like said doesn't bother me but I'm sure others might not enjoy that.
Good info Jim. I've definitely toyed with the idea of using hair curlers wrapped in felt vs baffles. I have a set of Mrod baffles and spring I have leftover from my Mrod days. So I'm actually waiting on a piece of material to shim them up .04". Could do tape but figured I'd rather have one piece of material go around the entire baffle system to really center them well. I just realized I might be able to cut a gallon of milk and make that work.

Oh forgot to mention I will be trying some more projectiles through it in the near future. Mainly ones with better BC. Been windy literally everyday lately the past 2 weeks. I do fine shooting my 16gr FX pellets but want something alittle less affected by wind. Got some FX 25.39gr RDM pellets coming, along with I have some 17.5gr NSAs .2165 and 21gr H&N .217. Also while I doubt I'll buy more of these just due to sheer cost I figured I'd a sleeve of the FX Hybrids for the hell of it. Might try some 20.2gr NSAs if none of these work ok for me. However have a feeling the RDMs will likely work well for me.

Try 18 AAs. That’s what mine prefers. They do surprising well in the wind as well. MRDs do quite well too. FX Slugs were the best of the slugs that I tried.

Yeah I'll need to try those. I'm quite happy with how my 16gr do. Very accurate but do wanna try some others just cause. Some recent .177 threads has me wanting to maybe get a .177 barrel kit down the line and try some slugs through that.
Anyways update on my baffle system. The Mrod baffles with spring is working great. It fits 6 of the Gen2 baffles and the spring. All I did to help with a better fitment was add a "shim" in the shroud of a gallon milk jug cut to shape to fit from the end of the threads to the barrel support. All slid in nicely with a little tension. Accuracy is unchanged same with POI. But noise is drastically reduced.
Also noticed on my compact, the shroud support on the barrel has no interference in the holes from the oring. I know others noticed on there's the oring blocking the holes but mine doesn't at all.
