Proper maintenance

I have two issues with cleaning barrels.

First, you have to be careful not to get any cleaning solvent into the transfer port, even when the patch is nearly "damp".

Secondly, if you just can't help yourself, remove the breach o-ring if it is installed inside the barrel (as apposed to the probe). As good as they are, they'll never stand up to a barrel brush, even a nylon one.

And let me say, I never clean a barrel UNLESS the accuracy falls off. My Cobra has had at least 2,000 rounds what through it, and it still groups very well indeed.

This is at 75 yards!
