Proper Co2 Pistol Storage

I have been looking at purchasing a Crosman 600 and have been doing some research.
I came across a site which stated "You should always leave it charged. But not cocked or loaded."
I'm just curious to know if this is good practice with a Co2 pistol, or is it just recommended for this particular model.

It is good information for most Co2 guns as it will keeps the seals from drying out and leaking the next time you fill it. Although I have purchased guns that held pressure until I changed out the Co2 cart and then they let it all out as well.

Alphabet org or pellgun oil don't forget. 

AoA has a used Crosman 600 for $200 they are fun guns shooting Crosman Premier Hollowpoints and Ultra Magnum Domes even the Discovery PCP variant Hollowpoints. I wouldn't recommend trying to shoot anything else that may risk jamming the cycling mechanism.

Crosman 22 wadcutters were perfect but discontinued.

So what's the proper way to store a Co2 pistol?
Fully charged with Co2 or not? And would this all depend on the length of time being stored?
I have never heard anyone recommend doing this so I'm really curious to know,

I store with Co2 pre lubed with Alphabet org. 

Don't want the seals drying out left empty.

I've constantly read that you should remove CO2 when done, but I've never done that in 20-30 years and never had a CO2 pistol leak. I think it's more important to not over tighten the CO2 piercing nut and squash the heck out of the sealing ring than it is to remove CO2. 

The real question to ask is: Do you remove all of the air in your PCP before storing it? Of course not, you want all the seals formed with pressure to maintain. So why would you remove CO2 - same scenario.

Try some hot glue on the end of a wooden dowel.

Keep Banging the tube close to the receiver with a rubber mallet while pointing the gun down.

If it is leaked all the way out I would drill a hole and put a screw in there, then yank it out with pliers
