I recently picked up a Competition Electronics ProChrono with IR light kit. Today I put it in the shade with the diffusers on and it worked perfectly. I then waited until it was fully dark outside and installed the IR light bar kit. It registered every shot with the same velocity as in the daytime. Heck Yah! I'll likely give my light-picky F1 chronograph to a friend.
