Has anyone had problems with the new Crown taking the Aluminum magazines and single shot trays ? The plastic one has to be forced into fit.

With regards to the aluminum mags.. i have a couple they work perfectly just like the new style plastic mag. Works smooth like butter!

+1 on this. Loosen the barrel screws, move the barrel very very slightly forward and re-tighten. The magazine should fit in just fine. Whenever I change barrels on my Crown, or take them out to clean, I actually put a magazine in before I put the barrel back to make sure I don’t push it too far in and make it hard to change the mags in and out.

Anything you use to load the crown make sure it slides in smoothly otherwise you may damage the breech. Here is a pic of my crown with the aluminum single shot tray.

I cannot get the FX single shot trays to fit any of my actions!
As far as the mag it's always best to seat it in the breeech and then do up the screws, I always do this when changing barrels etc.

I have found the problem and it is not the barrel being in to far. I'm waiting for a call with Melissa from FX and see if we can get this worked out. I will update after I talk with FX.

My brother's Yellow Jacket Crown had a super tight mag fit from the factory...had to loosen barrel and move back a bit.
