For the second time in two years Air Venturi Nomad ll has crapped out. The first was last October, when the control board went out. That was covered under warranty. Tuesday the unit started flashing an "H2" code and slowly ground to a halt. I contacted Air Venturi and they determined that quite likely the motor had failed. When I asked them what the estimated repair cost would be, the AV rep couldn't / wouldn't give me an estimate. I would have to ship it back to them to get a cost of repair. I don't want to spend $50+ on shipping, only to find that repairing it would be prohibitively expensive.
