A chronograph is a CRITICAL piece of equipment when diagnosing problems like this. As mentioned before, if it's shooting too hot or slow accuracy will suffer. I have Caldwell chrony that's served me well & paid less than $100 for it.

The first thing I can tell you is that gun comes with the reg set at about 122 BAR. I have Built many a .22 Cricket shooting the 18.1 JSB, Air Arms Diabolo Field heavy or the FX 18.1 at a 1020 FPS shooting deadly accurate at 40 yards. I would first get your velocity between 880 to 940, it should shoot great somewhere in that range. I would also try shooting it without the shroud on the barrel to see what happens then.

Hello friend, I shot without shroud and it groups very well at 50 meters with 890 FPS. With shourd, falls to either side, does not clump. What do I do friend? You are totally baffled! The first three images are WITHOUT shroud and the last two WITH shourd.Thank you.

No. But without shroud groups very well up to 50 meters. With shroud

falls anywhere!!

It is clear that the problem is from the exit of the barrel to the exit of the shroud.

When making bigger the hole be careful of:

1.- Not damage the threads of the cap; and

2.- do not weaken the cap with a drill tip too wide.
