Problem with aea xp max .45

Did the trick but obviously something went wrong.
First i pulled the bolt back, removed the mag, pressed the trigger, pulled the bolt forward and finally pulled the trigger to check.....and it fired (i am at home so got some shouts from wife ). Ok, at that point i though i was done, so for no reason i pressed the trigger again.....and another shot!! wtf, semi auto?
So, seems that if the bolt is put forward but not locked, with one shot there is power to shoot and to push the bolt back enough to reset the hammer spring. Wonder if with the magazine inserted, the bolt goes all the way back enough to rechamber another bullet.....did anyone experience this?

I'm guessing you were holding the bolt back when you pulled the trigger. so you pull back, remove mag, let the bolt come forward a little so you're off the hammer, then pull trigger. you should feel the bolt jump a little or pressure on the bolt. hope I explained that well.

also, always keep your hand on the bolt lol.
