I am interested in getting an FX Chronograph to use with my, mostly, springer, collection. All the videos I see about the chrono show it in use with PCPs. It seems the best way to use the chrono is attached below the muzzle. I wonder if springers, which suffer from recoil and vibration will destroy the chrono. I opened FX webpage for the chrono and this is their description of its use:
"Keep in the mind the Pocket Chronograph is not just for high powered airgun use. Any projectile travelling under 1300 FPS can accurately be tracked. The Pocket Chronograph is perfect for archery, CO2 rifle and pistols, airsoft, slingshot, paintball and more." Most of use do not think of our springers as "high powered."
Has anyone tried to use the chrono with a springer and what were the results?
