Primos Trigger Stick Tripod is a must have IMO

@WorriedMan I saw something like what you described before on Midway. Turns out that the problem was in selecting the color (Onyx) that corresponded to the sale price for that option only. Do you think that may be the case on Amz?
EZ,
Not sure, Amazon only has the Onyx listed for $99, and that's what pops up, clicking pop-up links to Amazon (Onyx) listing for $99, even though pop-up price alert says price now $62. Only "scam" reason I see would be to constantly bring you back to ad and further consideration of purchase @ $99 even though with $62 "in the wind" don't know why you would. WM

@WorriedMan I looked at it and see what you mean. I only saw the option for the $99 tripod. The $62 “promo” could’ve just been some sort of AmZ click bait. Dunno. Trigger Stick shooting rests are handy to use considering their weight and ease and speed of deployment, so the value is there even at $99. Onyx is a funky looking color to me.

EZ,
I LIVE OUTDOORS, out of Minnesota, is the company selling the Primos on Amazon. I contacted them through an Amazon message system about the $62 sale price, so we'll see. Guess they'll be the ones to say if willing to sell at that price. Price drops on the Onyx from $220s to $162 to $99 seem fair enough, but $62 is a done deal. Agree, Onyx is funky but as long as it works OK, don't mind. WM

At $62 I'll buy a "backup"! I use both when hunting a permission. I have a leofoto with a BOG deathgrip on it and always take the Primos. I'll sit and wait with the leofoto as it is the most stable rest between the 2, but as we all know, the animals almost always go to different spots then we anticipate! So I grab the gun out of the death grip and use the trigger stick for a "move and shoot" operation. For woods and walking, I use the trigger stick exclusively. I have the "scabbard" for it and if I'm not going into deep brush, it works well but doesn't aid in a "quick opportunity"

I must say, looks like a bunch of you have had great experience with those. I must be unlucky I have had 3 different trigger sticks going back to 2011 I believe and they all were great and functional for awhile. Inevitable they stick jam whatever. It's funny I pulled out my last pair this week and watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to fix them. I tried and gave up. Lol, I'll admit I'm not much of a mechanic. It's in the trash.
Thing is they are awesome while they work. I'm thinking of the vanguard line now

The Trigger Stick tripod is all I shoot off of while killing rats at my friends farm. There is no way I’d be able to get stable shots on the vermin without them. Squeeze the trigger and it adjusts each leg to level you off on uneven ground. To me they are the best. The one thing I did do however, was replace the supplied V notch rifle holder for the Bog Death Grip rifle holder that gives it a more level and stable platform. Screws right onto the supplied 1/4” - 20 plate that comes with the sticks.

Just had third "price drop to $62" notice for Onyx Tripod, linked to Amazon, price still shows $99. I LIVE OUTDOORS never replied to my first request, just placed another. Must be a scam, geez I hate scammers. WM
Mystery solved, Amazon clickbait. "Price drop notice $62" referred to an earlier (February) price drop to current sale price of $99. Since visiting $99 priced item and requesting notification of future price drops, the $62 Price Drop notice seemed to indicate price had dropped to $62, while it really was referring to the $62 February price drop to $99. What an a**hole thing to do, needless to say no Primos Trigger Tripod for me, I'll select another. WM
